Find My Words Privacy Policy

Find My Words is a vocabulary practice app. This app is designed for use alongside professional speech-language therapy. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. This policy describes how the app handles your information.

What Data the App Stores

Find My Words stores the following data locally on your device only:

  • Practice session history — which packs you practiced, when, how long each session took, and per-card metrics (time to reveal, cues used). Capped at 200 sessions.
  • Saved cards — cards you bookmark for additional practice, stored with the card identifier and timestamp.
  • Audio preferences — whether auto-play audio is muted.
  • Download state — which content packs have been downloaded to your device.

This data never leaves your device. There are no user accounts, no cloud sync, no server uploads. All local data is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat processes in-app purchases on behalf of Find My Words. When you make a purchase or restore previous purchases, RevenueCat receives:

  • Purchase transaction data (product purchased, date, price)
  • A device identifier used to verify your entitlements (which packs you've unlocked)

RevenueCat does not receive your practice data, saved cards, session history, or any other app usage information. RevenueCat's handling of transaction data is governed by RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

No other third-party services collect data through this app. Find My Words does not use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

Data on Apple and Google's Platforms

When you download or purchase content through the App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google processes that transaction under their own privacy policies. Find My Words does not control or have access to your App Store or Google Play account data.

Children's Privacy

Find My Words is not directed at children under 13. It is designed for adults with aphasia, typically used alongside professional speech-language therapy.

Data Deletion

All app data is stored locally on your device. To delete it, uninstall the app. No server-side data exists to request deletion of.

For purchase history managed by RevenueCat, you may contact RevenueCat directly per their privacy policy, or contact us and we will assist.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date.
